- When using a shower filter, it’s ideal to set a temperature you would still shower with. A shower filter should never be used at full temperature for filling bathwater.
- Staying at a maximum of about 55 degrees Celsius ensures the filter material is not damaged, and the water is generally more than body-warm.
Do germs form in the filters?
If the cartridge is replaced approximately every 6 months as recommended per DIN 1988, there is no risk of bacterial growth, provided the filter is used regularly.

Simply let at least 3 liters of water run through before use.
After 6 months: Generally replace the filter after 6 months.
